Aluminum

Aluminum is the lightweight, relatively soft, durable, ductile and malleable metal with a light silver color. It has the highest strength to weight ratio and good thermal and electrical conductivity. When elements like copper, magnesium, zinc etc., are added to pure aluminum, it gives excellent strength. Aluminum can easily be machined, cast, drawn, and extruded. A thin aluminum oxide surface layer gives it excellent corrosion resistance. Aluminum is easily available, recyclable, and cost efficient. It is also a good reflector of visible light and infrared radiations.
