Radel

RADEL® R PAES (Polyphenylsulfone) is a high performing and high temperature thermoplastic with excellent thermal stability, toughness, high impact resistance, and good stress-cracking resistance. It has a high melting point due to its amorphous nature. Radel offers excellent resistance to hydrolysis, acids, and bases. It is widely used in medical applications due to its high toughness and better service life even when subjected to repeated autoclave. With unlimited steam sterilizability, Radel often replaces polysulfone (Udel®). It is available in natural (bone white), amber (translucent), and custom colors.
